Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actor and singer. She is an Michigan native born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Her parents are born in Polish origin (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her talents in entertainment from a young age. When she was in 1992, she went to her very first audition. She got the role on Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell's mom enrolled her with an agency before her 13th birthday. She later appeared on television commercials as well as newspaper ads. She is now also taking classes in acting for herself. Bell had a minor role without credit on the film Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a part of the drama and music club at Shrine Catholic High School. She won the starring role of Dorothy in her high school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. Bell studied musical theatre at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell left the university in 2001 to take on the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. The is the year she had her first credit debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and she was only seen in the credit sequence. Bell made an appearance together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
